IDP GAME DAY

With Julian McFaul and the summer AiC staff!

A Whovian-like Adventure

The last cybernetic war of the Holocene Epoch inadvertently opened rifts in the space-time continuum and deposited legions of three warlike societies into an inter-dimensional detritus pocket paradoxically co-existing with the 1964 World's Fair.

War weary legions of soldiers that should have remained separated by centuries now strive against each other for control in an trans-dimensional circus-like, retro-imagined world-of-tomorrow.

Start play in 12th century feudal bands, in the ranks of an early 20th century combat unit or in the cybernetic enforcers of an outer galactic colony. Combat options include melee weapons, nerf products and late Holocene technologies.

Find the path to each time zone and unlock inter-dimensional doors. Befriend The Doctor and her associates and control access to all zones in the pocket.

Controlling the terrain around each sculpture adds powers to your team and potential fortresses for your defense. This game day is guaranteed to leave your head spinning and drive you to near madness as you attempt to navigate the insane pathways of the detritus pocket!

Ceremonial-Castings-Cthulhu

With Julian McFaul and the summer AiC staff!

The Early Ages of The Realm are described in the great stories as an era of peace and knowledge before the coming of The Empire, and as a sanctuary of learning under a flourishing of benevolent magic before the sundering of the Elves. The wise ones of Aelarededd recount how the early clans of humanity lived in harmony and in alignment with the calling of the Erwydd u Ddaeár (Hart of a Thousand Antlers), the first earth-sigil awakened to humankind.

But the stories omit a forgotten period of strife, a lost decade of conflict set in motion by ancient families who's tenacious search for puissant arcane knowledge brought them far beyond their capabilities and unleashed the First Great Horror into the fabric of The Realm.

Play one of three ancient and powerful wyddic families in this secret history of the schism behind the Houses of Hart and Drake. Try potent and nimble new rules for spellcasting and bow-play in an epic day of melee, magic and unspeakable horror.

We'll be creating our own original monsters and fill in every detail of their monster world, inventing new languages, new music, new monster cultures.

This workshop is a rich and dynamic blend of mask making, storytelling, role playing, musical instrument design & construction, stage combat and puppet-making including shadow puppets, hand puppets and larger than life puppets.
