Fiasco: A Different Misadventure Each Day!

The Story: Each session will have a different story and setting! The game can be in any genre, but often has the feel of being set in a thriller.

Each day we'll start with a setting and lists of characters and relationships to choose from. What happens next is uncertain, but we can be sure that everything will go horribly wrong! In Fiasco, the more your character loses, the more everyone wins.

Each session, we'll use the same easy-to-learn game system, but with a different playset, meaning the story will always be different.

Style of Play: Fiasco is a game for people who enjoy role playing as characters and coming up with stories more than learning rules and throwing dice. For the game you have to be willing to listen to the other players and create the characters' reality together. Funny voices and a sense of humor are encouraged!

Preparation: None, but feel free to research Fiasco, and pick your favorite playset to suggest, many of which are free online.

About the GM: I love reading and writing, and have taught English in Romania, China, France, Peru, and Mexico. I am from Kansas, play the mandolin, and one of my favorite books is Haroun and the Sea of Stories, by Salman Rushdie.
