Cult of Keerung

The Story: In the year 2025 the world has not changed much since as you are reading this (although there is no pandemic). Guns are far superior to bows, cars and motorcycles have replaced horses, and swords have become useless after the invention of kevlar and have been replaced with more blunt weapons, such as aluminum baseball bats, and ancient tomes now hold the long-forgotten secret of magic. With this hidden magic, darkness swirls, and if unchecked will destroy the world.

Style of Play: A game for players with some experience (although not necessary) and an eagerness to delve deep into the mysteries that await. The game will have both combat and social encounters and will be fun for all.

Preparation: All players will need to make a level 5 character and send me a picture. If you know how to make a character go ahead! (for base stats use the standard array, 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8), If you don't know how to make a character shoot me an email with the description of what you want your character to be and I will try and fit it best I can and send you back a character (examples of descriptions might be, a human ninja who is really strong, an elf who is really good at sneaking around, a dwarf that is really good with an ax, or a gnome who isn't too smart (the more descriptions the better). Also, make a Roll20 account.

About the GM: Max is a high school student who has always had a love for storytelling. He was first introduced to D&D in kindergarten but didn't learn to love it until 8th grade when his cousin ran an adventure for him and his siblings. Max is excited to spread the art of storytelling, especially when using role-playing games.
