Adventures in Drawing

Activity: As much fun as it is to watch movies, read books and play games full of fantastical characters and creatures, how incredible would it be to be able to come up with your own designs, your own characters to populate these fictional realms? Join these weekly sessions with Eric to spend time creating and conceptualizing characters, creatures and weapons based off of a new prompt every week! Eric will give helpful insight and pointers as students collaborate and share ideas, all working towards creating their own individual illustrations.

Preparation: Please bring paper and your favorite drawing utensils

Counselor: Eric Dymit is a wacky and enthusiastic critter who seems to be some kind ofcombination of a hobbit and a goblin. He loves the imaginative possibilities that AIC offers to its campers and has particular interest in the role-playing elements of character
creation and storyline development. You are most likely to see him frolicking barefoot
through the woods (does he even OWN shoes?) or scampering up a tree. Campers from The Green Band might remember him as Scallywag the Pirate Monkey, J-Club the
Whacker, Pan, or Dr. Alan Cula, and more recent campers will recognize him as Grimble the Gremlin. Eric will be a counselor with Band of Mountains this summer, and is thrilled to be developing new programming that he is sure campers will love
