Paper Sailboats
Based off classic model racing yachts we make 3’ long toy sailboats of cardboard, cloth and wax. No propellers here, no electronics, just the rigging and the wind. These boats are easy to construct, and are absolutely water-proof.

Each student will create and take home a small catapult based on a Roman or medieval design. As a group we will create two modestly-sized hand-powered trebuchets to battle with water ballons.
