High Combat Play
Build from scratch, from templates or with pre-cut designs!
Our first Spring session at Cabrini Playground involved making simple swords and shields fast and getting out into the field to sample game play. Our Armory sessions in the Fall will be based around making more complex props, armor and helmets.
You can make anything you like and you'll be able to create your own designs or use our templates, but the first session will focus mainly on creating more complex swords scabbards and shields. Pre-cuts will available for these types of projects if you're interested in our designs.
A little time may be left toward the end of the session for a quick game, but if you want to play games more than build props, then sign up for one of our upcoming Game Days!

The Sword of Destiny
In the merry old Kingdom of Arko, Queen Íshild had been poisoned on her throne, her son dismembered in the mountains and her daughter sent far east into hiding... all in a single day. Though her throne had been claimed by a rival family faction, the Sword of Destiny, Caledbolg, had been lost in the catastrophe. The sword had been the Sword of Queens since the dawn of time and its absence now denied the Queen's upstart cousins the legitimacy to rule.
Thirty years later the Sword of Destiny is rumored to have appeared again in the wilderness where it was lost. Factions battle fiercely in a frantic race to be the first to find the sword, for it will certainly decide once and for all which family may claim the right to rule Arkoland forever!
